Junior Project Manager in Structural Biology

Job Description

Responsibilities1、Lead the team to participate in research services from genes to structures, including literature research, protein expression, crystal growth, data collection and analysis, structural analysis and reporting.2、Independently responsible for the entire process of protein crystallography, including crystal screening, crystal optimization, data collection and processing, phase analysis and structural refinement, interaction analysis, and detailed research reports write up.3、Participate in project quotation, research plans development, responsible for communicating with clients before, during, and after the project.4、Host conference calls with clients, visit and other matters.5、Participating in the procurement and maintenance of crystallization related instruments and consumables.6、Assist in the maintenance and development of software and hardware for crystallographic computing platforms.7、Develop automation for protein crystallographic data processing and structural analysis.8、Participate in maintaining the relationship with synchrotron radiation source line stations and actively discover new resources.9、Lead team construction, including personnel recruitment, training, and promotion.10、Coordinate work with other project teams and allocate resources reasonably.
Qualifications1、Master various aspects of protein crystallography from upstream to downstream, including but not limited to bioinformatics, system selection, fragment construction, molecular cloning, expression purification, crystal growth, data collection, structural analysis, and structural analysis.2、With a proven track record of extensive research experience, PhD graduates from the class of 2024 or 2025.3、Proficient in English, able to easily and naturally engage in project, academic, and daily communication with foreign clients.4、Ability to lead a team, guide newcomers, and priority given to those with experience in training students.

This position requires initial training in Shanghai for one year, followed by a permanent posting in Chengdu.
