The Aerospace & Defense Global Delivery practice is responsible for delivering IFS Cloud implementation services and Success services to the six main sub-industries within A&D, which are, Airlines, Aviation Support Providers, MRO Providers, Manufacturers, Defense Contractors and Defence Forces. Our global team executes large and small projects as well as supports Success engagements. We rely on a team of experienced consultants and project managers who specialize in our solutions and our delivery processes.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Tokyo, Japan. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex, strategic projects that drive our company's growth and success.
Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scopeDevelop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategiesLead cross-functional and multiple-location teams, fostering collaboration and driving high performance to achieve project objectivesEngage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing regular updates and managing expectationsAnalyze project data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practicesMentor and guide junior project managers, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team capabilitiesContribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies and processesManage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectivelyIdentify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project successEnsure project alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiativesProactively identifies and communicates opportunities and solutions to create efficiencies and values for customers
Qualifications
Proven experience (10+ years) in managing mid to large-scale projects, preferably in commerical carriers, MRO or OEM environmentBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related fieldProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plusStrong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and traditional approachesDemonstrated experience in systems integration and data integration projectsIn-depth understanding of core corporate platforms, with a focus on SaaS solutionsProficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar toolsExcellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problemsOutstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, in EnglishStrong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and motivating cross-functional teamsExpertise in risk management and mitigation strategiesAbility to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationAdaptability and resilience in handling changing priorities and project demandsJapanese language proficiency at a business level is highly desirable
