Key Performance Indicator Template

Effective tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is crucial for managing IT projects. Given the diverse nature of these projects, it is essential to prioritise KPIs that are most relevant to each project's specific goals and challenges, ensuring efficient resource use.  

To streamline KPI selection and management, a standardised KPI template should be used. This template provides a consistent framework for defining and documenting KPIs, facilitating better communication and understanding across projects. By storing these templates in a central repository, organisations can reduce redundancy and promote the reuse of well-defined KPIs. For example, if Project A establishes a KPI for “critical path slippage,” Project B can adopt or adapt it, ensuring consistency and saving time.
