HIRING | PROJECT DIRECTOR – DATA CENTRE CONSTRUCTION Location: Saudi Arabia Digby Morris has been exclusively retained to identify an experienced Project Director to lead the construction and delivery of a major hyperscale data centre development in Saudi Arabia. THE CLIENT Our client is a major international engineering and construction contractor with an established presence throughout the Middle East and other international markets. Operating at a multibillion-dollar scale, the group generates several billion US dollars in annual turnover and employs tens of thousands of personnel across its international operations and project delivery businesses. The contractor has an extensive track record delivering large-scale, technically complex construction programmes across multiple sectors, including: Major civil engineering and infrastructure Airports, transportation and rail Power generation and energy infrastructure Industrial and commercial developments Mission-critical facilities and hyperscale data centres The group has successfully delivered major projects for government entities, international developers and private-sector clients, combining substantial in-house engineering and construction capabilities with specialist MEP and technology infrastructure expertise. Its expanding data centre portfolio encompasses large-scale developments across multiple international markets. THE OPPORTUNITY The Project Director will assume overall responsibility for the construction programme, encompassing: Civil, structural and architectural construction works Complex MEP installations and mission-critical infrastructure Electrical distribution, power generation and cooling systems Management of multidisciplinary construction teams and specialist subcontractors Programme, commercial, contractual, quality and HSE performance Testing, commissioning, systems integration and final handover CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Minimum 15 years' experience in major construction project delivery Successful delivery of at least one 100 MW+ data centre project Strong main contractor, EPC or design-and-build background Demonstrable Project Director-level leadership and delivery accountability Proven experience overseeing both civil construction and complex MEP packages Middle East experience desirable but not essential THE PACKAGE An attractive tax-free expatriate remuneration package will be offered, commensurate with experience and qualifications. #ProjectDirector #DataCentres #Hyperscale #Construction #SaudiArabia #ExecutiveSearch #MissionCritical #MEP
