The Opportunity We are currently looking to speak with experienced construction professionals for an exciting permanent opportunity covering the Moray and Inverness-shire areas. We are keen to hear from candidates at various levels, including Construction Project Managers and experienced Site Managers. This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to join an established construction team and play an important role in delivering projects successfully. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction background, strong organisational and leadership skills, and the ability to drive projects forward safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. We are looking for someone who can start at short notice, so this is a quick appointment for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Depending on experience and level of appointment, responsibilities will include: Planning, organising and overseeing construction projects from commencement through to completion. Developing and monitoring project programmes, schedules and costs. Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, design teams and clients. Managing day-to-day site operations and ensuring works progress to programme. Monitoring project progress, quality and productivity. Ensuring health and safety standards and site procedures are followed. Liaising with clients, stakeholders and the wider project team. Identifying and resolving issues, delays and potential project risks. Managing project documentation, permits and relevant approvals. Ensuring compliance with current building regulations and industry standards. Providing regular progress updates and reports to senior management. Leading, supporting and mentoring site teams where required. Qualifications & Experience We are interested in speaking with candidates who can demonstrate: Previous experience in construction project management, or site management. Construction Management or Supervision SVQ, or equivalent qualification. SMSTS certification. First Aid at Work certificate. CSCS Card at Manager level (or appropriate level for the position). Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials and methods. Good leadership, communication and organisational skills. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation. Experience with project programming software such as Microsoft Project or ASTA (particularly for PM-level candidates). Knowledge of relevant building regulations, health and safety requirements and industry standards. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. What's on Offer?
