Portfolio Manager / Senior Portfolio Manager - Commodities Leading Global Multi-Strategy Investment Firm We are working with one of the world’s leading multi-strategy investment firms, which is expanding its commodities business. They are adding to existing teams and launching new ones, and want experienced risk-takers to run their own capital, either as a standalone PM or as a senior PM building a team. This is a pure investment seat. You run your own book, and you are paid on the P&L you deliver. YOUR ROLE: Run a dedicated allocation in one or more commodity sectors: crude and refined products, natural gas and power, metals or agriculturals. Express directional and relative-value views through futures, swaps and options, across flat price, spreads, curve structure, cracks and arbs. Own the full investment process: idea generation, position sizing, risk management and execution, within clearly defined risk limits. Use discretionary, fundamental, systematic or hybrid approaches. Fully systematic PMs with live, model-driven strategies are equally welcome. For senior PMs: build and lead a team of analysts, traders and quants, with the firm’s support to scale. YOUR PROFILE: 7+ years in a risk-taking role at a trading house, energy major, bank, hedge fund or prop firm. A multi-year track record of P&L you generated on your own book, which you can evidence with Sharpe, drawdown and return on capital or VaR. Deep expertise in at least one commodity sector, with a clear, repeatable source of edge. A disciplined approach to risk, and a strategy that can scale with additional capital. Based in London or open to relocating. Geneva, Dubai, Singapore and New York are also considered for the right profile.
