Project Director – Mission Critical & Data Centre Delivery

We are partnering with a leading international infrastructure developer expanding its data centre portfolio across Northern Europe. Our client is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, technically complex developments in Finland. We welcome senior project leaders from data centres and adjacent mission-critical environments, including power and energy infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and other high-specification engineering facilities. Key Responsibilities Lead the full project lifecycle, from site development and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. Oversee multidisciplinary delivery across CSA, MEP, power infrastructure, utilities and critical engineering systems. Manage project governance, CAPEX budgets, commercial performance, risk, quality and programme schedules. Direct pre-construction activities, contractor selection, procurement and contract negotiations. Manage senior relationships with contractors, consultants, utility providers and regulatory authorities. Lead multidisciplinary project teams and drive successful delivery across multiple developments. Candidate Requirements Extensive senior leadership experience delivering large-scale mission-critical, data centre or complex infrastructure projects. Proven end-to-end project delivery experience, including construction, commissioning and operational handover. Strong technical understanding of CSA, MEP, power infrastructure and integrated engineering systems. Demonstrated experience managing significant CAPEX budgets, contractors and complex project programmes. Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management and executive leadership capabilities. Willingness to relocate to Finland and maintain an on-site presence. Direct data centre experience is advantageous, but candidates from comparable mission-critical environments with transferable delivery expertise are encouraged to apply.
