Project Coordinator (fixed term, part time), Population Health Intervention group

About the Opportunity

Institute of Metabolic Science (IMS) Epidemiology at the University of Cambridge are seeking to appoint a skilled Project Coordinator to work within the Population Health Interventions group.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to contribute to three research projects of direct relevance to government policy and the public's health. These projects explore various aspects related to public health and are part of the internationally recognized work on the structural determinants of diet, physical activity, and related health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Overall day-to-day project coordination
• Main point of contact for the projects
• Supporting staff recruitment, induction, and probation activities
• Managing project documentation
• Contributing to publications and funder reports
• Financial management and administration
• Organizing meetings and events
• Communications duties

About You

The ideal candidate should have excellent time management, organizational, and administration skills. Pro-active problem-solving, ability to work independently, and meeting deadlines are essential.

Eligibility

The post is available for 39 months (part-time, 0.6 FTE) with a start date before Spring 2027. The role is under the line management of Prof Thomas Burgoine.
