About the Opportunity

Beyond Ordinary starts here. We’re looking for a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager to play a key role in building and shaping Global X Australia's fixed income capability at an exciting stage of growth.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end portfolio management and trading of fixed income and selected equity ETFs, accountable for funds operating in line with investment objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Execute trades relating to index changes, cash flows, corporate actions, currency hedging, and portfolio optimization.
• Monitor portfolio exposures, risk metrics, performance, and tracking error — identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
• Partner with market makers and support capital markets activities.
• Champion best practice across portfolio management, identifying opportunities to improve automation, scalability, risk controls, and operational efficiency.
• Enrich the ongoing management of our fixed income ETF offering, alongside reporting, regulatory, compliance, and cross-functional responsibilities.
• Help shape and expand our fixed income capability by contributing to new product development, portfolio construction, and investment process enhancements.

About You

Degree-level education or equivalent (e.g. CFA). A minimum of 10 years’ investment experience in fixed income portfolio management, trading, or ETF management, including hands-on responsibility for running portfolios or mandates. Strong understanding of fixed income markets, instruments, and trading practices. The ability to prioritize, make decisions, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong risk management mindset and sharp attention to detail. Familiarity with fixed income trading platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, MarketAxess, TradeWeb) and Aladdin would be highly regarded. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
