About the Opportunity

My client is now seeking two Project Managers to join them in Glasgow to work on construction projects across Scotland.

They are looking to hire individuals with around one year or more of PM experience post-graduation level, up to project managers who have recently become chartered with the RICS.

Good support will be provided to project managers who are working towards achieving chartered status.

Projects are diverse and include healthcare buildings for public sector hospitals, golf courses, warehouses, and more.

About Company

My client is a firm of construction consultants providing Project Management and Quantity Surveying services for various construction projects including new builds, refurbishments, alterations, etc.

They have a portfolio of long-standing clients and are experiencing a high workload.

With several offices in Scotland, they are currently in a phase of growth.

Eligibility

You will be a Project Manager at Graduate level with a minimum of one year post-graduate project management experience or recently chartered as a project manager with the RICS.

If not already chartered, ideally, you may have commenced working towards obtaining the APC.

A BSc or MSc in Construction Project Management or a related subject in the built environment is required.

Ideally, you will have experience working for a firm of construction consultants, multi-discipline consultants, or a main/principal contractor.

You should be comfortable working as part of a team when needed.

Key responsibilities include organizing and leading meetings, taking minutes, ensuring adherence to the client brief, and maintaining project progress within set timelines and budgets.

Excellent written and verbal English skills are necessary, along with confidence in engaging with individuals at all organizational levels.

Being forward-thinking and ambitious with strong client-facing abilities is preferred.
