Commercial Lending Portfolio Manager – Fresno, CA

About the Opportunity

California Bank & Trust is seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager in Fresno, CA to join their Commercial Banking team. This role involves underwriting new credit requests and managing a portfolio of existing Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loan relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and underwriting for new C&I and CRE credit requests
• Manage and service a portfolio of existing loan relationships
• Expand and build relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Analyze financial statements, address industry risks, monitor collateral requirements, and assist with loan presentations
• Stay informed of financial and market trends affecting the portfolio
• Assist with new and existing loan requests and special projects

About You

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field, along with 4+ years of banking, relationship management, underwriting, and credit experience. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Eligibility

• Working knowledge of various types of loans, credit analysis, financial spreading, risk analysis, and loan documentation
• Knowledge of banking products, services, policies, procedures, and regulations
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in software applications including word processing and spreadsheets

Salary

This position offers a base salary in the range of $103,000 - $138,000 depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
