Project Coordinator, Centre of Excellence for Pandemic Preparedness (CoEPP)

About the Opportunity

This role supports the effective implementation of the Centre’s initiatives aimed at strengthening pandemic preparedness across the region. The position will contribute to programme execution, coordination, and communication efforts to ensure smooth delivery of activities and consistent engagement with partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and coordinate the implementation of the Centre’s programmes, activities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead administrative and logistical arrangements for regional meetings, trainings, webinars, workshops, and other relevant events.
  • Assist in gathering programme- and outbreak-related data to support monitoring, reporting and analysis of diseases.
  • Support content creation, curation, and scheduling for the Centre’s online engagements.
  • Assist in the development and design of newsletters, reports, event collaterals, and other communication materials.
  • Mobilise volunteers in the planning and execution of events.
  • Engage and develop volunteers to become active agents for the Centre.

About You

Diploma or Degree in Public Health, Communications, Social Sciences, or a relevant field. Strong organisational, communication, and design skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with basic data collection or analysis tools is an advantage. Strong interest or foundational knowledge in public health and humanitarian work is preferred. Experience in graphic design or digital content management is preferred.
