About the Opportunity

Associate Project Director (MEP) – Nottingham

This role will sit within one of our largest Business Units, Public, Science & Technology. You will be the Associate Project Director (MEP) on a large scale construction project in Nottingham.

You will be accountable for the delivery of MEP services on a project to the agreed outcomes for time, budget, safety, and quality requirements.

You will be responsible for driving the delivery of high-quality, time-efficient, and profitable delivery, whilst providing leadership and accountability for compliance, governance, assurance as well as the management of teams of Technical and Construction staff. You will build and retain working relationships with colleagues and internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the MEP team on the project via demonstration of professional and respectful behaviors, providing clear direction, guidance, and the encouragement of compliance with Mace standards.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of the MEP services including management of the Programme, Health Safety & Wellbeing, Quality & Commissioning of the project.
  • Partner with multiple key project stakeholders, forming strong working relationships with the Client, Consultants, Trade Contractors, and other team leaders.

About You

You’ll Need To Have:

  • Advanced knowledge of engineering systems including design standards and frameworks, installation techniques, best practice, engineering processes, prefabrication, and system commissioning requirements, sufficient to manage the project team on program from an initial tender period through to contract completion.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction build elements, including sequencing and dependencies to ensure consideration, collaboration, and coordination with other work packages.
