Sydney | Strategic Procurement Leadership Roles
A leading Australian enterprise is expanding its Procurement Partnering function and is seeking three experienced Procurement Portfolio Managers to join a high-performing commercial team supporting a significant transformation agenda. These newly created positions offer the opportunity to partner with senior business leaders and deliver strategic sourcing, supplier governance, and portfolio management outcomes across critical enterprise spend categories.
Opportunities Available
- Procurement Portfolio Manager – Enterprise & Corporate Services: Lead sourcing and commercial initiatives across HR, Professional Services, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Corporate Services categories.
- Procurement Portfolio Manager – Property & Facilities: Support major property, construction, infrastructure, facilities management, and capital works programs across a national footprint.
- Procurement Portfolio Manager – Technology & Digital: Drive commercial outcomes across software, cloud, infrastructure, managed services, and digital transformation initiatives.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the relevant Head of Procurement Partnering, you will:
- Lead strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives
- Manage supplier performance and governance frameworks
- Deliver portfolio planning, reporting, and value realization activities
- Partner with senior stakeholders to influence commercial outcomes
- Support enterprise-wide transformation and procurement maturity programs
- Identify opportunities to optimize cost, improve supplier value, and manage risk
About You
You are a commercially astute procurement professional who combines strategic thinking with strong delivery capability.
You will bring:
- 5–10+ years' procurement, sourcing, or commercial management experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience leading complex sourcing projects and negotiations
- Excellent commercial, analytical, and problem-solving capability
- Experience operating within governance and compliance frameworks
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment
Experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:
- Professional Services and Corporate Services procurement
- Property, Construction, or Facilities Management procurement
- Technology, SaaS, Cloud, or IT Services procurement
