Project Director

Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Industry: Transmission & Distribution

Scope of Work: A senior leadership role for a motivated and experienced Project Director with one of the UK’s leading infrastructure businesses delivering a range of exciting energy projects across the Central Belt.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall leadership, direction, management, and supervision of multi-disciplinary projects to appropriate health and safety, time, cost, and quality targets.
• Provide strategic planning, leadership, and support to project operations.
• Implement a full risk and value engineering management process.
• Consult effectively with customers & stakeholders.
• Prepare and communicate financial reports and spreadsheets to stakeholders.
• Coach and develop project staff.
• Ensure all services and installations meet required standards and certifications.

About You

The ideal profile is someone who:

• Displays leadership skills alongside experience of delivering large scale projects.
• Has experience within the Energy sector.
• Is educated to a degree level in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Has DNO Experience and Awareness.
