About the Opportunity
The ABL Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of asset-based lending relationships, ensuring credit quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. This role involves ongoing credit analysis, collateral monitoring, risk assessment, and coordination with underwriting, field examiners, and relationship managers.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of ABL clients, including revolvers secured by accounts receivable, inventory, and other collateral
- Monitor borrower performance through regular financial analysis, borrowing base reviews, and covenant tracking
- Review and analyze collateral reports, including AR agings, inventory reports, and ineligibles
- Identify early warning signs of credit deterioration and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies
- Prepare annual reviews, renewals, amendments, and credit memos
- Work closely with Relationship Managers to support client needs and cross-sell opportunities
- Coordinate with field examiners and third-party vendors on collateral audits
- Ensure compliance with loan agreements, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in structuring deals and onboarding new clients as needed
- Maintain accurate risk ratings and portfolio reporting
