About the Opportunity

Standards Australia (SA) is the peak standards development organisation in Australia, with a rich history dating back to 1922. We are currently undergoing a significant transformation and growth phase, employing over 200 professionals dedicated to shaping Australia’s future and empowering communities.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of national and international standards development projects within agreed scope and timeframes
  • Assisting in planning and tracking project milestones, risks, and issues using enterprise project systems
  • Preparing agendas, minutes, and documentation for committee meetings
  • Coordinating meeting logistics and supporting structured, inclusive committee discussions
  • Supporting consultation processes, ballot activities, and publication workflows
  • Maintaining accurate stakeholder and committee records in CRM systems
  • Assisting stakeholders with project proposals and documentation
  • Supporting Australian participation in international standards development activities
  • Ensuring consistent application of standards development policies and procedures
  • Responding to stakeholder inquiries and supporting committee participation

About You

You are a highly organized professional who enjoys coordinating projects and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.

You Will Bring

  • Experience in project coordination, administration, stakeholder support, or similar roles
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience facilitating meetings or supporting committees or working groups
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholder groups
  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience
