Associate Portfolio Manager – Wealth Management (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Investment Director and other senior members of the team to administer investments in client accounts
  • Work as needed as part of the portfolio management team to support trading and portfolio management functions
  • Work on model changes and rebalancing for Tamarac accounts
  • Monitor asset allocation of client accounts and conduct rebalancing utilizing trade order management system as necessary
  • Monitor cash levels in client accounts and adjust as necessary
  • Produce periodic reports from trade order management system as necessary
  • Work with compliance to document and report on trading activity
  • Assist with other compliance related tasks
  • Enter, maintain and report on data in portfolio management system
  • Collaborate with Financial Advisors to enter and analyze data in investment portfolio proposals as necessary

About You

  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably in business, finance or economics related major; participation in the CFA program preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in investment related field; portfolio management and/or securities trading experience
  • Strong interest and knowledge in financial planning and wealth management
  • Interpersonal skills, productive working within a team structure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and exercise discretion without immediate supervision at all times
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure, prioritize workflow and assignments in a deadline oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organize and present data; strong Excel and/or programming skills a plus
  • Experience with Tamarac or other trade order/portfolio management software
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar, Schwab, and Fidelity platforms

Compensation

Our base pay range is $79,000.00 - $110,000.00 (per year)
