About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Principal (Technical Director) level Project Director seeking to apply their skills to deliver solutions directly with clients and join our growing Advisory team in Sydney. This newly established role is focused on leading complex projects for our key energy clients – from pursuits, through design delivery and construction. You’ll play a pivotal role both providing project management services directly to our clients, and leading and managing Beca’s multi-disciplinary engineering design services for complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects and deliver high-quality work in direct communication with clients
  • Work across the entire project life cycle from Business Case development through to Design, Construction, and Operation
  • Access industry-leading project management specialists across all Beca’s markets
  • Be a key member of a high-performing close-knit team

About You

Ideally, you will be an experienced project management specialist with proven delivery, risk management ability, and business and commercial acumen across the energy market. You will have a successful track record in the delivery of technically complex projects and to be considered for this opportunity you will require:

  • Proven project management leadership and experience with power systems
  • An in-depth understanding of project management principles and experience
  • Strong interest in mentoring junior team members
  • Proven track record identifying and securing new projects
  • Passion and capability in building client stakeholder relationships
