Project Coordinator – Employee Benefits

About the Opportunity

The role of the Project Coordinator is to provide exceptional support to assigned Employee Benefits (EB) leaders for the purpose of organizing the activities and tasks associated with special projects to ensure timely and effective execution from research to development to implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Support an interdepartmental team to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain project database/plans outlining project scope, tasks, contributors, resources, and deadlines.
  • Serve as point of communication; liaise, collaborate, and communicate with project leaders and contributors.
  • Utilize survey and/or reporting tools to gather, report, and summarize feedback and data.
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials and information required to promote new processes and/or systems.
  • Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) and related resources.
  • Support an interdepartmental team in documenting and tracking carrier override arrangements and financial projections.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including documenting team meeting notes, creating and posting Intranet updates, scheduling meetings, assisting with mass email communications, etc.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested.

About You

Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years of experience in project management or an administrative support role or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior Employee Benefits knowledge not required, but strongly preferred. Ability to work hybrid out of one of our Hylant office locations; Fort Wayne or Jacksonville preferable, but not required.

Experience coordinating teams and clients, working with all levels of management. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills. Strong detail-oriented, organizational skills. Flexibility to and ability to prioritize workload and manage time appropriately. Demonstrate problem-solving skills with a focus on research and follow-up capabilities. Strong sense of initiative and self-motivation. Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
