Responsibilities

• Develop and implement appropriate processes to ensure sponsor oversight for all Trust sponsored studies
• Conduct monitoring across the Trust and at other NHS organizations
• Review study protocols and ensure compliance with regulations
• Provide specialist training to research staff
• Contribute to the development of local SOPs

About You

This post requires a dynamic, out-going person with good IT skills and a knowledge of study set-up and delivery processes at UHS. Personalization of your recruitment application is crucial.

Eligibility

Essential criteria:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Experience in medical research methodology and clinical trial regulations
• Thorough understanding of systems supporting clinical care in a research environment

Desirable criteria:

• Experience in a large teaching hospital or University
• Commercial research experience
• Previous experience with IRAS for R&D applications
