Portfolio Manager – Infrastructure Asset Management

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Portfolio Manager, Infrastructure Asset Management at VP level (dependent on experience) within Allianz Capital Partners.

As its portfolio continues to grow, ACP is committed to developing a dedicated, hands-on asset management team to oversee the whole-life investment approach, drive value creation, and de-risk investments through early and sustained engagement.

The current portfolio consists of a diverse range of infrastructure investments across Energy, Transport, and Digital, including recent investments in data center, battery storage, and green molecule developments, many of which involve greenfield development, construction risk, and scaling platforms.

We are now looking for a senior professional to compliment this successful team, with a focus on supporting a growing pipeline of greenfield and development-stage investments. Candidates with backgrounds in infrastructure development, construction, project delivery, or advisory/consulting roles are encouraged.

The role is based in our London or Munich office.

Responsibilities

• Lead individual asset management teams ensuring a ‘one team approach’ across office locations and across other teams
• Act as a board member or observer for Allianz’s stakes in a small number of portfolio companies overseeing the investment performance and related decision-making
• Manage key relationships with asset level stakeholders, including management, employees, co-shareholders, debt providers and government to ensure that the business performs in line with expectations and that ACP’s voice is heard and its reputation protected
• Report internally on operational, and financial performance of underlying assets and their valuation
• Identify and support origination and execution of additional investment opportunities that may arise through the portfolio company or sector coverage

About You

Work experience (5-8 years) within energy or infrastructure investment, asset management, project development, construction or related advisory/consulting

Experience in the European infrastructure or energy market, ideally including greenfield or development-led projects

Personal and engagement skills to assist in influencing decision-making

Analytical capability combined with commercial and practical judgement, complimented with top class academics from leading academic institutions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly at board and senior‑management level

Ability to use Copilot to improve productivity.
