Portfolio Manager (Infrastructure funds, co-investments, and directs)

About the Opportunity

Our client, an institutional investment manager, is looking for a Portfolio Manager responsible for infrastructure investments to join their team in London. The role will be responsible for managing a multi-billion portfolio of global infrastructure fund primary investments (LP allocations to GP funds), co-investments, and directs, working with two team members.

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, underwrite, and recommend investment opportunities in third-party/external funds and co-investments
  • Develop and execute strategic portfolio construction for the infrastructure investment platform
  • Oversee performance monitoring and reporting across the portfolio
  • Build and maintain industry networks through active participation in sector events, committees, and LPACs

Requirements

Essential previous practical experience with third-party/external fund managers, indirect investments, fund/manager selection, investment due diligence, investing as an allocator/LP in GPs' funds. Strong track record in evaluating investment managers and making portfolio recommendations. In-depth knowledge of global infrastructure investment strategies and fund manager landscape. Experience operating within institutional investment frameworks.
