Junior Project Coordinator

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Junior Project Coordinator to support our project management team. You will be responsible for the administrative and operational aspects of our projects, ensuring that all moving parts are tracked, documented, and communicated effectively. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual looking to build a career in Project Management within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Project Scheduling: Assist in creating project timelines and ensuring team members are aware of upcoming deadlines and milestones.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain and organize project folders, version control for documents, and ensuring all project artifacts are up to date.
  • Meeting Support: Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and accurately record meeting minutes (tracking Action Items and Owners).
  • Resource Tracking: Assist in monitoring the utilization of team members and flagging potential resource gaps to the Project Manager.
  • Status Reporting: Consolidate data from various team members to help prepare weekly or monthly project status reports for management.
  • Liaison: Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external vendors to facilitate smooth information flow.

Eligibility

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 0–1 year of working experience. (Fresh graduates with strong internship records or CCAs are highly encouraged to apply).

Software Proficiency:

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic experience with Project Management software (e.g., Jira, Trello, Monday.com, or MS Project).
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Slack, or Zoom.

Process Knowledge: Basic understanding of project phases (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Closure).
