About the Opportunity
Freestone Property Group is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee daily operations of scattered-site multifamily properties. This role requires strong leadership, innovative thinking, and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of multiple properties within a scattered site portfolio
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure maintenance standards are met
- Manage team of Community Associates, Field Service Managers, and Maintenance staff
- Respond to tenant inquiries, maintenance requests, and complaints
- Coordinate property turnover, screen applicants, and maintain high occupancy levels
- Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and collect rent
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, repairs, and capital improvements
- Ensure compliance with regulations, maintain accurate records, and generate reports
- Manage relationships with service providers and contractors
About You
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities
- Proficient with property management software; knowledge of Yardi preferred
- Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance processes
Education And Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of property management experience preferred.
