Project Director – Critical Utilities Infrastructure Revitalization, SLAC

About the Opportunity

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Project Director to lead the $209M Critical Utilities Infrastructure Revitalization (CUIR) project, a major infrastructure upgrade supporting the laboratory's long-term scientific mission.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the overall planning and execution of the CUIR project in a safe and environmentally sound manner
  • Manage the entire collection of projects and/or programs undertaken by the organization
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and facilitate discussions and negotiations

About You

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management or a related technical discipline and ten years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience directing large, complex capital infrastructure projects within a regulated environment.

Eligibility

  • Master's degree in engineering, project management, business, or a related field preferred
  • Experience managing utility infrastructure systems
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification

Benefits

SLAC offers competitive pay with an expected range of $199,580 - $245,563 per annum. The final pay will be determined based on various factors.
