Portfolio Manager – Sovereign Investment Platform

About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading sovereign investment platform in the UAE, managing a diversified pool of financial assets exceeding AED 3 billion. The organisation plays a strategic role in deploying capital across global public markets, multi-asset strategies, and external fund managers. With a mandate focused on long-term value creation, capital preservation, and disciplined risk management, the platform is strengthening its internal investment function with a dedicated Portfolio Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a multi-asset portfolio of listed equities, fixed income, cash, and externally managed funds
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, asset allocation and compliance with internal investment guidelines
• Conduct macro and microeconomic research, sector reviews and market analysis to support tactical adjustments
• Manage relationships with international asset managers, custodians, banks and investment partners
• Prepare investment papers, reporting packs, dashboards and recommendations for the Investment Committee
• Support the development of investment frameworks, models, performance attribution and portfolio analytics
• Ensure execution, settlement and oversight of trades across global markets

About You

Candidate Requirements:

• 7–10 years of experience in asset management, sovereign wealth, family office, or institutional investment roles
• Strong understanding of global financial markets, portfolio construction, risk frameworks, and macroeconomics
• Hands-on experience managing or co-managing financial asset portfolios (equities, bonds, treasury, funds)
• Solid technical foundation: Bloomberg proficiency, financial modelling, performance analysis, reporting
• Professional qualifications (CFA or progress toward CFA) highly advantageous
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to present to senior leadership
• Based in UAE
