Portfolio Manager

Job Description

About the Opportunity

Are you looking for a role where you can shape how a growing organization approaches change? I am working with a Housing Association in the South West to recruit for a Portfolio Manager that offers the chance to do exactly that. The PMO is still in its early stages, and this role gives you space to help build its foundations, shape its frameworks, and influence how governance is embedded across the business. It’s an ideal time to join, especially if you enjoy creating structure where it doesn’t yet fully exist and helping people understand the value of doing things well.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the organization’s change portfolio
  • Support the development and ongoing management of portfolio governance
  • Ensure consistent and scheduled reporting
  • Help business leads shape ideas into initiatives
  • Support prioritization and strategic alignment
  • Establish consistent standards and improve processes
  • Build relationships with teams across the organization

About You

If you have experience in the following, you’ll be a great fit:

  • Portfolio Management (multiple projects)
  • Project Delivery
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Strong Communication & Organizational Skills

Benefits

You’ll be part of a supportive team where your ideas matter and where you’ll have opportunities to grow your skills in portfolio management, governance design, business-case development, and prioritization. The salary on offer is £47,600 with a great benefits package. This is a remote first role with 1/2 days a week onsite in their office in the South West.

About Company

If you enjoy helping organizations make better decisions, like bringing clarity to complex situations, and want to be part of shaping a PMO that’s still evolving, this could be a great move. It’s a chance to use your skills in a way that genuinely influences outcomes and to step into a role with real potential for growth.

If you don’t have an up-to-date CV, it doesn’t matter, send across what you have, and we can take it from there.
