About the Opportunity

Job Title: Bilingual IT Project Coordinator
Client: Banking Industry
Working Style: Hybrid (visit client’s office in Tokyo 1-2 days a week)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Language: English/Japanese
Start: May 1st, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and support IT infrastructure projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and completion.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a bridge between U.S. and Japan-based teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Project execution: Work with stakeholders in client’s Tokyo office to complete project tasks.
  • Bilingual Communication: Translate technical and business requirements between English and Japanese-speaking teams.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear project documentation in both English and Japanese.

About You

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Fluency in both English and Japanese (spoken and written).
  • 5-10 years of IT project management experience, preferably in financial services or banking.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure projects, in areas such as networking, VCS, storage and OS.
  • Strong ability to work across global teams and time zones, with responsibilities involving collaboration with both US and Japan teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work hybrid (Tokyo) with 2 days onsite per week.
