Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience: 3–4 years in field sales (Mechanical / Instrumentation)

About Petropipe

Petropipe is a UAE-registered entity aiming to expand its reach across the supply chain for industries including Oil and Gas exploration, Refining, Mining, Cement, Fertilizer, and other local industries.

Role Overview

A candidate with 2-3 years in project planning within Oil & Gas or shipping/logistics, and previous experience in managing local projects with strong coordination skills.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or a related field (Engineering background preferred but not mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Scheduling and Coordination:
  • Develop and manage project schedules.
  • Organize kick-off meetings and liaise with sub-vendors.
  • Coordinate with procurement to manage budgets and contracts.
  • Ensure project control measures, schedule planning, and progress/cost monitoring.
  • Resource and Deliverable Management:
  • Plan resource mobilization and demobilization.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams and procurement to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Monitor key deliverables for manufacturing clearance and analyze schedule deviations.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare reports on schedule variance, progress, and physical measurements.
  • Conduct schedule delay analysis and implement recovery plans.
  • Regularly update the schedule and ensure updates are realistic and achievable.
  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Conduct meetings with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Maintain healthy supplier relationships and monitor performance.
  • Resolve operational issues impacting deliveries and manage logistics planning.
  • Additional Duties:
  • Ensure timely billing and logistical planning.
  • Prepare progress reports and presentation materials for meetings.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and planning/control tools (SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent verbal and written English proficiency, Knowledge of Arabic would be preferable but not mandatory.

Interpersonal Competencies:

  • Effective communication (both clear and cross-cultural).
  • Negotiation and diplomacy.
  • Technical communication and active listening.
  • Good presentation skills and crisis communication.

Candidate Requirements:

Local Availability: Only candidates currently residing in UAE (on a residence or transferrable visa) will be considered.
