A growing engineering solutions business is looking for a well-organised, customer-focused Project Coordinator to join their operations team. If you’re someone who thrives on keeping projects moving, managing multiple customers, and owning the post-order workflow from start to finish — this is your lane.

The Opportunity: You’ll be the key link between customers and the internal engineering/manufacturing teams, making sure every project runs smoothly from order to installation. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role where your organisation skills, communication, and customer service ability directly shape the client experience. You’ll also get the chance to build data-driven energy saving proposals once trained, adding real value to each customer project.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating customer projects to agreed timelines
  • Managing accounts from a customer service perspective
  • Creating and updating project documentation
  • Producing energy-saving proposals using client billing data
  • Tracking milestones and ensuring each stage progresses on time
  • Providing regular updates to customers (daily/weekly)
  • Liaising with multiple clients and internal teams
  • Maintaining accurate records and paperwork across all projects

About You

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 4 years experience in project coordination, account management, or customer service
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Confident handling multiple priorities and maintaining calm under pressure
  • A proactive, positive, can-do approach
  • Solid MS Office skills (Excel & Word essential)
  • Experience within an engineering or technical environment is a strong advantage
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a close-knit team
  • Based primarily at the Leyland head office with occasional travel

Benefits

  • Salary £30,000 - £36,000
  • Quarterly profit-share scheme
  • Free day off on your birthday
  • Regular team socials
  • Workplace wellness package including high-street discounts and access to medical/mental health support
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • A supportive, stable team environment with strong values and a long-standing track record of success
