This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of major hospital projects that shape the future of healthcare across NSW. As an Assistant Project Director, you’ll support senior project leaders to plan, manage and deliver complex health infrastructure projects from concept to completion. You’ll coordinate project workstreams, drive collaboration between diverse stakeholders, and ensure projects meet scope, time, quality and budget requirements. Your work will help deliver modern, safe and patient-centred facilities that improve health outcomes for communities across the state.
This is a fulltime fixed-term position for a period of four years. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
You’re an organised and proactive project management professional who thrives in complex, multi-faceted stakeholder environments. You bring experience managing infrastructure or capital work projects and have strong skills in stakeholder engagement, procurement, reporting, compliance and quality assurance and risk management. You’re confident working across multidisciplinary teams, translating technical details into clear outcomes, and maintaining focus on safety, quality and delivery. Collaborative, adaptable and results-driven, you’re motivated by contributing to projects that make a real difference to public health and patient care.
