External Managers Department

The External Managers Department seeks to identify and develop relationships with the best breed of global investment managers to benefit GIC at large, and at the same time capturing investment opportunities to outperform our benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and performing due diligence on prospective external fund managers
• Monitoring existing investments and highlighting key matters to the Investment Committee
• Evaluating potential investments and co-investments in funds
• Performing strategy level analysis
• Underwriting and portfolio management of hedge funds and other alternative asset managers

About You

Qualifications:

• At least 3 to 5 years of credit experience
• Previous training as a Credit analyst or Portfolio Manager
• Prior Fund or direct investing / credit underwriting experience
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Excellent analytical ability, strong writing and communication skill, high attention to detail
• Highly motivated, intellectually curious about markets and investing
