Production Manager – Digital Marketing & SEO (ZR_22080_JOB)

Contract Type: Independent ContractorSchedule: Monday - Friday, 7am to 4pm Central with an hour unpaid break
Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize production operations across website development, SEO, lead generation, and client deliverables. This is a leadership role where you will manage systems, mentor a remote team, oversee production budgets, and scale agency fulfillment.
You will ensure timelines and standards are consistently met, drive team productivity, and refine internal processes for optimal efficiency. Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Workflow Management:Own and optimize the ClickUp production system and calendar.Ensure proper delegation of work across teams (development, content, SEO, design).Identify bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions to meet deadlines.Team Leadership & Mentorship:Lead, manage, and mentor a remote team of 5–20+ contributors.Set performance expectations and accountability standards.Participate in the hiring process to expand capacity as needed.Process Optimization & SOP Development:Build and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for recurring deliverables.Continually evaluate and improve internal processes for scalability.Budget Oversight & Efficiency:Manage production budgets and resource allocation.Track cost-per-project metrics and ensure financial efficiency.Oversight of Core Deliverables:Website development (via WordPress)SEO fulfillment (keyword tracking, content publishing, link-building)Lead generation campaignsReputation management (GBP posts, review requests, citation accuracy)Client retainers
Compensation & ScheduleRate: Competitive, based on experienceHours: 40 hours per weekPreferred Working Hours: Minimum of 6:00 AM – 12:30 PM US Central TimePayment Schedule: 1st and 15th of each month for hours completed
