About the Opportunity

Alexander Associates are working with a groundbreaking and rapidly expanding launch provider who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you’ll work closely with engineering, business, legal, and finance teams to keep projects on track—delivering on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Creation and management of new and existing work packages and projects
  • Managing stakeholders and ensuring technical delivery of Engineering Projects
  • Oversight of delivery of verification evidence for the launch vehicle and its systems
  • Contribute to upcoming Grants and Future Projects

About You

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • 10 + years’ experience in a Project Management role
  • Professional PM qualification such as Prince2 (Foundation or Practitioner)
  • Track record of delivering projects to agreed times & budgets
  • Experience of running fast paced operations, managing and motivating teams to succeed
  • Experience of maintaining relationships and liaison with team members and key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Project Management experience in planning, controlling budgets and driving to schedules, within a technical environment
  • Engineering and technical competence, sufficient to enable decision making
  • Understanding of non-core project management roles such as purchasing, and engineering management etc.
  • Experience in creation of project business cases and pitching to stakeholders

Desirable Experience & Skills:

  • Experience with the ECSS systems engineering process or equivalent
  • STEM qualification or relevant professional experience
  • Experience with systems engineering for Vehicle Systems in Aerospace or Defence

  • Full driving license
  • Successfully clear all applicable internal and National Security Vetting requirements
