About the Opportunity

This post presents an excellent opportunity to join the establishing and expanding Surgical Research team with a varied portfolio of studies as a Research Portfolio Manager (RPM).

Responsibilities

• Direct line management of clinical trials coordinators
• Data management
• Administrative functions
• Delivering information, tools, and processes to support research portfolio management
• Facilitating research feasibility assessments
• Ensuring efficient and timely set up, initiation, and team delivery of surgical research studies
• Implementing, standardising, and optimising quality, financial, and data systems

About You

Applicants should have a scientific or business-based degree or relevant experience in scientific and medical research. Previous management and leadership experience within clinical research is essential. Demonstrated work experience in clinical trials administration and coordination, data management, and a good understanding of clinical research, GCP, and clinical governance are required.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate awareness and contribution to divisional, Trust, and national objectives and strategies.
