Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Dartford, England

Salary: £65,000 - 70,000 per annum plus car/allowance and package

Work Opportunity: Permanent

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction project delivery - Oversee all assigned projects, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and programme (P6) targets are met while following all technical and legislative standards.
• Collaborate and communicate - Attend site visits and kick-off meetings, track progress, and keep both Clancy and the client informed with regular, clear updates.
• Coordinate key stakeholders - Work closely with clients, senior leadership, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet critical milestones and maintain strong working relationships.
• Support planning and strategy - Help develop execution plans, construction programmes, pricing, risk registers, and CDM/safety documents, contributing directly to winning bids and successful delivery.
• Drive information and cost control - Ensure all project data is captured and handed over smoothly, while supporting commercial teams with cost tracking and NEC contract administration.

About You

Proven experience managing pre-construction and build-phase projects, ideally in substations or HV environments.

A strong technical knowledge, with the ability to build programmes and engage early with subcontractors.

Familiarity with NEC contracts and confident in contractual project delivery.

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and comfortable working with Excel data.

A background in high-voltage or utilities projects, especially within DNO substations or highways.
