About the Opportunity

Join our team as a Program Manager focused on public health initiatives targeting underserved communities. This role involves overseeing program operations, stakeholder coordination, community engagement, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, development, and implementation of public health programs
  • Ensure timely completion of program objectives
  • Supervise project staff and provide guidance
  • Coordinate with community partners and local organizations
  • Engage with community leaders and facilitate meetings
  • Track program progress and report outcomes
  • Serve as a liaison to public health authorities

About You

Qualifications: Master's Degree in Public Health or related field with 1 year of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience in public health programs. Knowledge of nutrition education and obesity prevention is essential.

Skills: Strong understanding of public health principles, ability to manage complex projects, excellent communication skills, and fluency in Spanish preferred.

Eligibility

Ability to work in various community settings, occasional travel required, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Benefits

Employed through The University Corporation with an anticipated hiring range of $25-$35 per hour. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits.
