Portfolio Manager, Public Markets Fund Allocation, Leading GCC Family Office (Role based in Middle East)

About the Opportunity

The client is a single-family office with a global multi-asset investment strategy based in the Middle East with international investments across real estate, luxury, energy across private and public equities. Due to their expanding mandate, they will be looking to hire various individuals across front office, middle and back office to strengthen all aspects of the firm’s capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain relationships with new and existing external asset managers.
  • Lead external asset managers due diligence workstreams and selection processes for prospective investments in Public Markets.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and present opportunities in Public Markets Selection Committee meetings.
  • Demonstrate strong transaction execution capabilities with legal documentation for external mandates.
  • Actively manage and monitor portfolio exposures and market movements.
  • Employ advanced analytical platforms and proprietary models to assess performance attribution.
  • Lead portfolio construction and tactical allocation decisions.
  • Responsible for communication with stakeholders related to selected investments.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop risk management processes around Public and Total Portfolios.

About You

Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field, CFA or CAIA designation preferred. 10-12 years of investment experience, with a minimum of 7 years in one specific asset class (Equities, Fixed Income or Alternatives). Advanced proficiency in MS Office; experience with Bloomberg, Python, PowerBI, and Tableau preferred. Experience in investment due diligence, especially in allocation to external managers. Experience with Family Office / Private Banking environment preferred, but not mandatory.
