About the Opportunity

Join a leading, independent finance provider in Central London specializing in fast and flexible bridging loans and buy-to-let mortgages. With a robust presence in the market, we are expanding and seeking a talented Loan Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough audits of new loan files, meticulously reviewing and approving legal documents sourced from solicitors to maintain compliance and accuracy.
  • Verify and ensure that loans meet stringent eligibility criteria, contributing to responsible lending practices and portfolio quality.
  • Analyze valuation reports with precision, identifying potential defects or issues that could impact loan security, and leveraging compliance checking tools to evaluate customer suitability.
  • Work closely with underwriters to facilitate smooth loan completion processes, ensuring all requirements are met for seamless transactions.
  • Maintain internal compliance lists to align with regulatory standards and company policies, fostering a culture of adherence and excellence.
  • Ensure full compliance with collections, redemptions, and default loans policies across the loan portfolio, safeguarding financial integrity.
  • Take ownership of defaulting cases, navigating receivership or legal processes, and effectively communicating with all stakeholders involved.

About You

  • Previous experience in bridging loans, buy-to-let mortgages, or related loan spaces is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational abilities to manage multiple loans and borrowers effectively.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills to interpret complex loan data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Display excellent attention to detail, particularly in working with numerical data.
  • Experience using compliance checking tools such as Experian, GBG, Smart Search, and Lexus Diligence for KYC processes is advantageous.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to interact confidently with internal teams and external stakeholders.
