The PITCH

We're looking for a Project Director to help establish project management as a discipline within the office. The accounts are specific to the Australia market, whilst working closely with our APAC team. Applicants should have a robust understanding of social media, comfortability with digital production and a strong project management and operation skillset to help support the day to day running of the accounts in Australia. This is an always-on role that moves daily, putting out creative content at a fast pace, while also planning larger campaign initiatives.

This is a full-time role based in Australia with a reporting role to the Country Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Develop designated portfolio into a well-functioning and profitable business unit
  • Manage the programme of work - financial planning, directing, and coordinating activities
  • Ensure Agency, Client, Vendor, and Legal processes are being met
  • Hands-on ownership of complex strategic projects
  • Partner with the Account, Strategy, Media and Creative leads
  • Tracking financial progression and suggesting adjustments
  • Identifying risks and solutions
  • Scope development to determine goals and deliverables
  • Oversee/coordinate portfolio resources and day-to-day activities
  • Monitor and report on project progress
  • Provide motivation and mentorship to the PM team

About You

Previous 10 years of experience in an agency, managing a portfolio of brands

Leadership, management and mentorship skills

Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Proven negotiation skills

Hands-on experience and ownership of complex strategic projects

Ability to recognize and solve potential problems

Strong communication skills and impressive attention to detail

A cool, calm and collected approach to problem-solving

Strong self-awareness and people-management skills

Understanding of relevant social media platforms and their requirement
