About the Opportunity

Quantum Development Finance (QDF) is a specialist property lender, backed by institutional capital, providing flexible residential development and bridging finance to SME housebuilders and property investors across England and Wales. We aim to become the lender of choice for SME developers. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Junior Portfolio Manager (JPM) with excellent growth opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing instruction letters and draft loan documentation
  • Conducting residential comparable research
  • Coordinating and processing monthly drawdowns
  • Managing payment processing through banking platforms
  • Drafting completion and redemption statements
  • Reviewing professional reports and monitoring loan facility conditions
  • Maintaining internal systems including the loan management system
  • Performing Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence
  • Ensuring insurance and loan facility documents remain up to date
  • Tracking land registry applications
  • Processing property sales and repayments

About You

Ideally, we're looking for a recent graduate or apprentice with one year’s office-based experience, preferably in finance, banking, or real estate. Essential qualifications include strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, ambitious and proactive mindset, strong interpersonal and written communication skills, sound problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.

Desirable qualifications include one year’s office-based experience, experience in financial services, real estate, or a lending environment, and familiarity with loan or portfolio management systems.
