About the Opportunity

Acadian Asset Management LLC is a Boston-headquartered investment management firm with wholly owned affiliates located in Singapore, London, and Sydney. As of March 31, 2025, the firm managed approximately US$121 billion on behalf of major pension funds, endowments, foundations, governments and other investors based in the U.S. and abroad. Acadian Singapore services a portion of these global assets which are invested in various investment strategies by Asian clients through separately managed accounts, sub-advised UCITS funds, and alternative investment funds.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to join our Equity Portfolio Management team. This person will be an integral member of a dynamic international team responsible for Acadian’s rapidly expanding presence across the Asian Pacific region. Acadian supports a hybrid work environment, Singapore employees are on-site 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Lead meetings with clients, consultants, and prospects
• Answer ad-hoc inquiries from clients, consultants, and prospects
• Work closely with other portfolio managers to oversee and manage client portfolios
• Collaborate with other investment team members to identify and deploy enhancements to the investment process
• Participate in internal investment policy discussions and decisions

About You

We’re Looking For Teammates With:

• An advanced degree with strong academic record in economics, finance, mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, or similar discipline
• At least 10 years’ experience in finance, preferably asset management, investment consulting, or academia, with emphasis on quantitative investing and risk management
• Ability to perform reviews of equity portfolios and generate ideas to improve systematic portfolio management
• Experience interacting with Asian investors and understanding investment preferences
• Superior verbal and written communications skills (English required, other languages welcome)
• Strong programming background required, e.g., in Python
• Willingness to travel regionally 20 – 40% of the time
