Major Duties

  • Responsible for managing and helping prioritize large-scale client change portfolios
  • Responsible for managing large scale client programs with multiple projects and work streams
  • Provide enhanced Client interface, communication and change governance on change items managed
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and communicating effectively with different business units at all levels when managing initiatives
  • Responsible for aligning resources, overseeing agreed budgets, creating project plans and tracking key milestones/risks/dependencies
  • Ensure all project updates are routinely and effectively communicated to clients, business partners and vendors
  • Maintain or enhance, as appropriate, a structured and focused mechanism for take on of new business and/or new products
  • Elicitation of clients’ business strategy & immediate business need through structured interviews and information gathering sessions
  • Work with key NT stakeholder groups to manage resolution, escalations and presentation of issues for Clients

Eligibility

The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal, non-verbal, and written
  • Exhibits Northern Trust’s cultural behaviors
  • In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge
  • Highly flexible and adaptable with strong organizational skills
  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience
  • Prior experience in Project Management/Programme Management
