About the Opportunity

Optum, a modern healthcare disruptor, is seeking a Project Coordinator to help the digital product leadership team operate as a highly efficient group to achieve its strategic objectives. This role will be responsible for helping a dynamic leadership team run smoothly through support of daily administrative operations, coordination of team activities and special projects, cross-team communications, and management of leaders’ daily needs. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, interpersonal, and is passionate about supporting a fast-paced leadership team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Applies knowledge/skills to activities that often vary from day to day
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel for executive leaders
  • Handle sensitive communications and topics with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Utilize productivity and administrative solutions such as Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and travel management software
  • Communicate with colleagues and other executives in a professional and concise way
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines with quick turnaround
  • Requires little assistance with standard and non-standard requests
  • Solves routine problems on one’s own
  • Works with supervisor to solve more complex problems
  • Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines
  • Works with others as part of a team

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience as a project coordinator, administrative assistant, or similar role
  • 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare, technology, or corporate setting
  • 1+ years of experience demonstrating organizational and communication skills
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office, including managing email and calendars in Outlook, and tracking information in Excel

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $35.72 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
