Project Manager

About the Opportunity

Are you a results-driven Project Manager with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for delivering projects on time and within budget? This is your opportunity for a Project Manager to join a growing Engineering Services company and take ownership of varied projects from enquiry through to completion, overseeing everything from estimating and planning to team coordination and client management. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll balance commercial awareness with strong people and organisational skills. This role will be based at my client’s site in Berkshire.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on projects from estimating and planning through to final handover.
• Carry out site visits, prepare accurate quotations, and manage resources.
• Oversee engineers, subcontractors, and workshop/site teams to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
• Plan and coordinate materials, plant, and equipment to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and excellent service.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and profitability to meet company targets.
• Produce project plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Work closely with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities and support growth.

About You

Proven track record in project management with strong commercial acumen. Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills. IT proficiency (Word, Excel, and related software). Client-focused, adaptable, and confident in managing teams. Positive, energetic, and solutions-driven with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
