Responsibilities

  • Analyzes credit information to support lending decisions and processes for new and existing Commercial banking loans and credit solutions
  • Makes credit decisions and recommendations in compliance with bank policies and procedures
  • Performs financial analysis and calculations
  • Assesses client creditworthiness and prepares detailed credit summaries
  • Utilizes financial models and analytical tools to assess client repayment capacity
  • Supports portfolio monitoring and compliance
  • Identifies risks and opportunities by analyzing metrics and industry trends
  • Supports negotiation of loan terms and conditions
  • Develops proposals to capture new business and expand client relationships
  • Structures and supports new, renewal, and extension loans
  • Conducts financial analysis and risk assessments
  • Monitors portfolio performance and minimizes risk exposure
  • Serves as a point of contact for service requests
  • Supports initiatives to enhance service quality and acquire new business
  • Identifies revenue and cross-selling opportunities
  • Manages data entry into BMO's systems

About You

Preferred 3 – 4 years of relevant experience in credit or lending instruments or financial operations in a corporate or banking environment. Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting preferred. Intermediate level of proficiency in Problem Solving, Collaboration, Detail-Oriented, Analytical Thinking, Loan Structuring, Regulatory Compliance, Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Assessment, Banking Operations, Microsoft Office. Advanced proficiency in Data analysis tools, Financial analysis, Technical proficiency.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $69,000.00 - $127,800.00
  • Pay Type: Salaried
