Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s safety programs and standards
  • Contact customer at the start of each project and coordinate all aspects of the job
  • Coordinate project requirements with contractor and detailer
  • Attend site meetings to support customer focus
  • Produce necessary documents and coordinate orders
  • Assist supervisor in project reviews and discrepancy resolutions
  • Maintain contract file and monitor lump sums
  • Track change-orders and develop industry knowledge
  • Perform other duties as required

About You

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Eligibility

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • High school diploma, GED, or local/state equivalent
  • Three years of project coordination experience or high-level administrative experience

Preferences:

  • At least one year experience in construction environment
  • Two-year degree from accredited school or college, preferably in Construction Management or Architectural Engineering
  • Basic knowledge of reinforcing bar detailing
  • Experience in customer relations and problem resolution

Physical Demands

Typical office activities including walking, sitting, standing, bending, using hands to operate objects, tools, computers and other electronic equipment, lifting/handling computers and related equipment, vision abilities including close vision and adjusting focus, and moderate noise level.
