About the Opportunity

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Project Director - Precision Medicine in the United States.

This role serves as the regional leader for clinical and translational research projects, ensuring that studies are executed efficiently, on time, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. The Project Director will cultivate strong relationships with sponsors and stakeholders while overseeing project planning, staffing, and budgeting. This position involves mentoring Clinical Project Managers, monitoring third-party agreements, and supporting business development activities such as proposals and bid defenses. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on management to drive impactful outcomes in precision medicine initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the primary regional representative for precision medicine projects
  • Establishing and maintaining high-quality client relationships
  • Overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery with Clinical Project Managers
  • Reviewing and approving project scope, budgets, metrics, recruitment, training, and tools
  • Monitoring project critical paths and providing guidance to Clinical Project Managers
  • Leading communications with project teams and stakeholders
  • Managing unit resources, including staffing, performance evaluation, hiring, training, and development

About You

Requirements

  • A minimum of seven years of relevant clinical research experience
  • A three-year College Advanced Diploma or Degree in Health Sciences, Clinical Research, or a related field
  • Experience in molecular biology and running clinical translational studies
  • Strong leadership, project management, and mentoring abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and a results-driven mindset
  • Ability to engage in continuous learning, foster teamwork, and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Professionalism and a proactive approach to problem-solving
