Our client’s main focus has been to deliver strategic project management and programme management consultancy services that help unlock value and change organisations for the better. With offices in London and Bristol, they provide services to clients in key cities, the South and Thames corridor. They are a team of circa 50 friendly staff which makes it an inclusive environment. They work with clients in the healthcare, infrastructure, residential, education, government, and heritage sectors.
Role Description
- Manage the delivery of healthcare construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring compliance with client objectives and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate design, procurement, and construction activities, working closely with contractors, consultants, and end users.
- Develop and manage project programmes, monitoring progress and addressing risks or delays proactively.
- Oversee project budgets and cost controls, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Provide clear communication and regular reporting to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific regulations, planning requirements, and health & safety standards.
- Support contract administration (e.g., NEC, JCT), ensuring obligations are fulfilled and documentation maintained.
- Foster strong working relationships across project teams, contributing to a collaborative and solutions-focused environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering construction healthcare projects within the UK.
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to delivery and handover.
- Familiarity with healthcare-specific standards and regulations.
- Contract administration experience.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident in client-facing roles.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in project management, construction, or a related discipline.
- Proactive and adaptable professional, with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high quality.
- Must have UK consultancy experience.
